Unfavorable balance of foreign trade turnover of Armenia down 15% to 209.8 mln USD over June 2011
ArmInfo. Over June 2011 the foreign trade turnover of Armenia declined by 7% as compared with May, and grew by 10.4% as compared with June 2010, having totaled 165.4 bln AMD ($441 mln). At the same time, the unfavorable balance of Armenia's foreign trade turnover was down 15% as compared with May 2011 to $209.8 mln.
According to the National Statistical Service of Armenia, in the structure of foreign trade turnover export amounted to 43.3 bln AMD ($115.6 mln) in June, having increased by 1.1% as compared with May 2011, and by 32.5% versus June 2010. Import amounted to 122.1 bln AMD ($325.4 mln), having declined by 9.5% versus May 2011, and grown by 4.3% as compared with June 2010.
