In July 2011 deflation by 3,2% was fixed in Armenia
ArmInfo. In July 2011 as compared with June deflation by 3% was fixed at the Armenian consumer market, conditioned by the season price variation of some food goods.  In January-July inflation by 0,4% was fixed at the consumer market of Armenia, National Statistics Service reported.
In July 2011 as against June the food prices (including alcohol drinks and cigarettes) decreased by 5,4%, prices for non-food goods have not changed.  Tariffs on services reduced by 0,2% in July.
The National Statistical Service of Armenia told ArmInfo that consumer prices index in July 2011 was 106,3% as compared with July 2010.  Index of food goods (including alcohol drinks and cigarettes) made up 109,6%; non-food - 103,1%; services tariffs - 102,3% compared the same period of 2010. In Jan-July 2011 if compared with the same period of 2010 index amounted to 109,4%, 114%, 103,1% and 104,6% respectively.
According to the source, in July 2011 the average monthly growth of consumer prices in all the towns of Armenia made up 4,1-2,2%.  In Yerevan the prices reduced by 3%.
