Ameriabank issues privilege for representatives of SME - no rate of interest when crediting


Arminfo. Ameriabank offers representatives of small and medium-sized business competitive and effective crediting conditions. As press-service of the bank reported, over the first three months of serving SME credit the rate of interest is not taken. Starting from the forth month the sum of the rate of interest will be calculated from the reduced balance of the credit. The privilege of the bank for SME crediting gives an opportunity to borrowers to direct the saved funds to development and extension of business. The private businessmen and legal persons acting in the sphere of service, industrial sector and retail and wholesale trade may make use of this privilege which will function till 30 September 2011.

Ameriabank delivers the SME credits at 1 mln - 100 mln drams or these sums in foreign currency with rate of interest 16% in case of dram credit and 15% - in case of Us dollar, and 14% - EUR, with a repayment period 48-60 months (4-5 years). According to the Ranking of Armenian commercial bank prepared by Arminfo, as of 30 June 2011 Ameriabank was the leader on the economy crediting volume with a portfolio 100.4 mln drams or 78% out of total credit investments of the bank. In the aggregate credit investments of commercial banks of Armenia in the economy, the share of the Ameriabank is more than 13%.
