Armenia's money supply grows by 2% to $2.6bln
ArmInfo. In June 2011 Armenia's money supply grew by 2% to 967.3bln AMD or $2.6bln. In Jan-June 2011 the index grew by 6.1%, as compared with June 2010 - by 23%.
According to the Central Bank of Armenia, the cash outside the banking system grew by 2.7% in June 2011, dropped by 0.8% in Jan-June 2011 and by 13.7% as compared with June 2010 to 301.8bln AMD. The share of AMD deposits in the money supply made up 24.7% or 239.5bln AMD, the share of foreign exchange deposits - 44% or 426bln AMD.
In June 2011 the external assets grew by 21.3% to 70.4bln AMD. In Jan-June 2011 the index dropped by 3 times. The internal assets grew by 0.7% and 25.2%, respectively, to 896.8bln AMD.
In the structure of the internal assets the share of the economy grew by 1.4% to 1.153trl AMD, organizations - by 1.4% to 658.7bln AMD, households - by 1.3% to 460.5bln AMD, non-profit companies - by 2.5% to 13.2bln AMD.
