RESO insurance company launches a new product "APPA-PLUS"


ArmInfo. RESO insurance company has worked out and is launching a new motor third party liability insurance product "APPA-PLUS". The marketing service of the company told ArmInfo that under the insurance contract the insurance premium is 25,000 AMD, and the insurance coverage, i.e. the amount of the indemnity is 500,000 AMD.

The rater of the new product does not take into account the driving experience. The principle of the new product is to expand the insurance protection of the drivers, to make the motor third party liability a flexible product for the insurees.

Thus, when buying the "APPA-PLUS" policy, the insuree, as the party in fault of the road accident, shifts his obligations of property damage insurance compensation to the insuree. To recall, within the frames of motor third party liability insurance, an insurance company does not compensate for the property damage of the party in fault; only the aggrieved party receives the compensation for property damage. The marketing service of the company pointed out that numerous potential customers are already interested in the product.

To recall, the founder of RESO insurance company is RESO Guarantee, one of the largest insurance companies in Russia. The Armenian subsidiary of the Russian insurer entered the market in November 2008. The main channel of promotion of the company's insurance products is its network of agents, the number of which is currently 3,000. The company has its own insurance school and trains insurance consultants.

According to the Ranking of Insurance Companies of Armenia by the Agency of Rating Marketing Information (ArmInfo) over Q1 2011 RESO gathered 1.7 bln AMD premiums and by this index joined the top three leaders among the 8 insurance companies in Armenia. By the volume of indemnities the company also joined the top three leaders with 134.1 mln AMD. By 1 April 2011 the company's assets reached 3.6 bln AMD (almost threefold annual growth).
