Head of Central Bank of Armenia to participate in annual meeting of governing boards of IMF and WB on Sept 21-24
ArmInfo. Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) Artur Javadyan will participate in the annual meeting of the governing boards of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in Washington on September 21-24. The CBA press service told ArmInfo that Javadyan is going to take part in the annual plenary sessions of the heads of boards of the IMF and the WB, as well as in the meeting of countries of the IMF/WB Dutch Subgroup.
On the margins of this visit, Javadyan will also meet with IMF Executive Director Age Bakker, WB Executive Director Ruud Treffers, World Bank Country Director for the South Caucasus Asad Alam, and other officials.
The source says that on September 25 Javadyan will participate in a forum of banking investments and will make a report on "Financial system of Armenia is a developing and stable one".
