Transfers from Russia to Armenia by Anelik system demonstrates 5-fold annual growth
ArmInfo. In Jan-Aug 2011 the volume of money transfers by Anelik system amounted to $673 mln, with the annual growth in the volume being almost 14% and in the quantity - by 37% (920,649 transactions), the press service of Anelik Bank told ArmInfo.
According to the source, in Jan-Aug 2011 the volume of the money transfers from Russia to Armenia by Anelik system totaled 356.1 mln RUR, having exceeded the index of Jan-Aug 2010 by over 5 times, and the index of 2009 – by almost 13 times. The tariff for the transfers from the Moscow branch of Anelik.Ru to Anelik Bank and vice versa ranges from 0.5% to 0.8%. The transfers are made in any amount and in any currency.
To note, Anelik Bank was the first among the Armenian banks to create its own international money transfer system Anelik in 1997, which operates in 500 banks of almost 100 countries. Anelik Bank is the only bank in the Armenian banking system, which has a branch in Moscow (Anelik.Ru) that specializes in the transfers by Anelik system.
