Araratbank's dual purpose cards are popular
ArmInfo. Araratbank presented its dual purpose plastic cards at the 7th DigiTech on Friday.
Head of the Monitoring and Card Service Department of Araratbank Armen Asatryan said that in 2010-2011 the bank issued two types of Dual cards due to the Mifare technology, and both of them have become quite popular.
In 2010 the bank issued CLASSIK-M card, which can be used in both the ArCa system and the subway. As many as 12,000 CLASSIK-M cards have already been issued so far.
The other card Petrol Plus was issued in Mar 2011 and can be used in the Visa system and at fuelling stations. Some 4,500 such cards have been issued to date.
