VTB Bank Armenia, Cosmopolitan Armenia and Visa present Visa VTB Cosmopolitan card
ArmInfo. VTB Bank Armenia, Cosmopolitan Armenia and Visa have presented a new women's co-branding card – VISA VTB Cosmopolitan.
While presenting the card on Thursday CEO of VTB Bank Armenia Valery Ovsyannikov said that Visa VTB Cosmopolitan (Classic and Gold) has been tailored to the needs and the lifestyle of modern women and implies up to 50% discounts and as many as 200 special offers by boutiques, beauty shops and health centers.
"This is a unique, beautiful and successful card, the first attempt in Armenia to create a banking product for a specific group," Ovsyannikov said.
He said that VTB Bank Armenia is planning to continue issuing modern and high quality complex products and services.
The card will allow its holders to buy products and services in over 200 countries and will offer the beneficiary women a 55-day credit line and insurance against the loss of their bags.
Chief Editor of Cosmopolitan Armenia Hrachui Utmazyan said that the card is a good offer for the magazine's audience, who are mostly young dynamic and modern women.
Irina Kamkhadze, Manager for Business Development of Visa in Armenia, Georgia and Moldova, stressed that in the current card market the customers want to receive a universal product with an additional set of characteristics. "Visa VTB Cosmopolitan is really an interesting and attractive card, which will not only become a convenient tool to pay for the shopping, but also a stylish supplement to the image of a contemporary woman", she said.
At the same time, VTB Bank (Armenia) and Visa announce the launch of a joint marketing campaign "Winter with VTB" for the Bank's Visa cardholders, which will last till 31 January 2012. The participants in the campaign will receive a chance to meet the winter in the United Arab Emirates. One can become a participant in the campaign by receiving bonus points from the amount of the shopping or payment for services at any trade and service point in Armenia and abroad.
According to the data of VTB Bank (Armenia), as of 30 Sept 2011, the total number of plastic cards of the Bank made up 100,578, having increased by 18.6% as compared with the same period of 2010. Almost 70% of the cards or 70,400 cards fell on salary projects. As of 1 October 2011, VTB Bank (Armenia) had 88 ATMs and 759 POS-terminals.
