ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank offers "Utility Payments" credit card to ease payment burden in winter
ArmInfo. ACBA-Credit Agriñole Bank offers its customers a new service - "Utility Payments" ArCa credit card for payment for the gas consumed in winter and for other utility payments.
The press service of the Bank told ArmInfo that the given service is provided under the agreement signed between ACBA-Credit Agriñole Bank and ArmRusgasprom CJSC.
According to the source, the ACBA-Credit Agricole customers will be able to pay for the gas due to the credit line opened by the Bank. The payment for the gas will be levied from the credit line automatically, without the customer's visit to the Bank. The loan will be redeemed by equal monthly payments throughout the year,which will allow accumulating funds to ease the burden of utility payments in winter, when gas is consumed more than during the other months.
The given card allows making other utility payments as well, and it is also convenient for receiving salaries, as cash withdrawal through the Bank's own ATMs is free. The annual service of the card costs 1,500 AMD, the interest rate of the loan is 24% p.a., the interest added to the positive balance is 3%.
To remind, on November 21 ArmRusgasprom CJSC signed an agreement with Areximbank-Gazprombank Group and ACBA-Credit Agriñole Bank on application of a new mechanism of payment for the consumed gas by installments.
To note, ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank issues and serves local ArCa cards, as well as Visa and MasterCard international cards. According to the Bank, as of 1 October 2011, the number of the Bank's active cards was over 106 thsd, over 55 thsd of them - ArCa, about 35 thsd - Visa, and the rest - MasterCard. As of this date, the number of the Bank's ATMs was 134, POS-terminals - 1702. By all these indices, ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank is on the list of the top three leading banks.
