VTB Bank (Armenia) joins Zolotaya Korona money transfer system
ArmInfo. VTB Bank (Armenia) has joined Zolotaya Korona (Gold Crown) international money transfer system. The press service of the Bank told ArmInfo that from now on the customers of VTB Bank (Armenia) have an opportunity to send and receive Zolotaya Korona money transfers at any of the 68 branches and at the head office of the Bank in Russian rubles, US dollars and euros at the lowest tariffs.
"The bank expects that the cooperation with Zolotaya Korona will provide an opportunity to serve a big number of customers at a high level and at profitable tariffs. The tariffs start from 0.5% for the transfers from Russia and from 1.5% - for the transfers from Armenia", said Director General, Chairman of Directorate of VTB Bank (Armenia) Valery Ovsyannikov.
According to the source, as of 1 November 2011, there several money transfer systems operate in VTB Bank (Armenia): Contact, Bystraya Pochta, InterExpress, Anelik, Migom, Blizko, RIA Money Transfer, Money Gram, which ensure the Bank's high competitiveness in the market of banking services provided to Armenia's population.
To note, Zolotaya Korona - Money Transfers is a system of instant money transfers without opening an account. The services of the system are provided in over 300 banks and largest Russian retailers. The System covers Russia and the CIS countries and has over 24.5 thsd points of service.
To recall, VTB Bank (Armenia) became a member of the international VTB Group in April 2004. The Bank traditionally occupies the leading positions in the Armenian banking system by a number of main parameters. At the moment the Bank has the largest branch network in Armenia (68 branches).
