ArmInfo. In Jan-Nov 2011 the UNIStream system's turnover in Armenia totaled $602.5mln – 14.78% more than in Jan-Nov 2010.
The press service of Unibank reports that 727,832 money transfers were carried out via the system during the period – 15.58% more than a year before.
The bank reports that as many as 1,000,000 people hold UNIStream unified customer's card.
The campaign to promote the card was started just a year ago but the card is already very popular among the bank's customers, with almost 65% of all money transfers carried out by its means. The card can be received free of charge at any of the 37 branches of Unibank.
"The card has made our money transfers even more attractive and convenient for our customers and has helped us to seriously enlarge our UNIStream clientele," says Suren Hayryan, President of UNIStream.
In Nov Unibank introduced a service allowing customers to use UNIStream without visiting the bank. All they have to do is to call and to tell the operator their ID codes and the numbers of their cards.
Shortly, the bank will appear with a co-branding campaign – a card with additional advantages.
