In 2011 World Bank lent $59mln for construction in Armenia
ArmInfo. In 2011 the World Bank lent 22bln AMD or $59mln for construction in Armenia - 71% of all international loans given to the sector (31.1bln AMD or $89mln) and 24.6% less than provided a year before.
The National Statistical Service of Armenia reports that a total of 480.8bln AMD or $1.3bln was invested in construction in Armenia in 2011 - 11.5% less than in 2010.
The Government provided 84.6bln AMD or $227mln (15.2% more than in 2010 and 17.6% of the total investments), organizations - 221.9bln AMD or $596mln (13.5% less and 46.1% of the total), the population - 77.2bln AMD or $207mln (30.5% less and 16.1% of the total).
The Asian Development Bank lent 6bln AMD or $16mln, the KfW - 2.6bln AMD or $7mln, the EBRD - 1.3bln AMD or $4mln.
