Areximbank-Gasprombank Group to provide credit portfolio growth up to 92.5 bln drams by the end 2012
Arminfo. Areximbank-Gasprombank Group will provide the credit portfolio growth by 24,1% ($48.6 mln) up to 92.5 bln drams by the end 2012. As press-service of the bank reported, the volume of legal persons crediting will grow by 14,8% up to $185.4 mln, and of individual persons - by 68,5% up to $64.7 mln.
In 2012 Areximbank-Gasprombank Group is going to conduct a rather conservative credit policy and preserve the available credit at the high quality level. The portfolio will be increased within the frames of international programmes at the expense of the local market resources as well as the authorized capital replenishment. As of 31 December 2011, the volume of credits and other loans delivered by the bank to the customers amounted to 74.5 bln drams which was by 52% more versus the same period of 2010.
According to the Ranking of the Armenian banks prepared by ArmInfo, in 2011 in the credit portfolio of Areximbank-Gasprombank Group the share of the credits to the industrial sector is more than 38% (growth by 42,4%), more than 19% - trade sphere (growth almost threefold), more than 12% - building sector (growth by 27,6%), 4% - agriculture sphere and 4% - services (growth by 35-47%), more than 14% - consumer credits (growth by 16%). In the SME sphere the bank placed more than 9% of its credit portfolio, the absolute term grew by about 6% as against the previous quarter. According to the results of 2011, Areximbank-Gasprombank Group provided 1 bln drams of net profit.
