Turnover of non-cash operations by ATMs intensively grows in Armenia


ArmInfo. Over Feb 2012 versus Feb 2011 the turnover of non-cash operations by ATMs in Armenia grew 24.2-fold to 436.3 mln AMD, Armenian Card told ArmInfo.

In Feb 2012 the volume of internet payments in Armenia grew to 451.7 mln AMD (62.7% growth) versus 277.6 mln AMD in Feb 2011.

The turnover of card-to-card operations amounted to 497.5 mln AMD, which exceeds the index of Feb 2011 by 60.1%.

As of 1 March 2012 the total number of active cards issued by the ArCa member banks was 798.3 thsd (35.7% growth versus Feb 2011). The number of ATMs within ArCa was 853 as of 1 March 2012 versus 686 as of 1 March 2011.
