In Feb 2012 processing centers of VTB Bank (Armenia) and Areximbank- Gazprombank Group increased the amounts of their card transactions by 28.7% and 8.9%, respectively


ArmInfo. In Feb 2012 as compared with Feb 2011 the processing centers of VTB Bank (Armenia) and Areximbank-Gazprombank Group increased the amounts of their card transactions by 28.7% and 8.9% to 140.4mln AMD and 58.5mln AMD, respectively.

Armenian Card CJSC reports that as compared with Feb 2011 the indices grew by 36.2% and 56.8%.

The amount of cash card transactions carried out in the processing network of VTB Bank (Armenia) grew by 35.3% to 133.5mln AMD, while the amount of non-cash transactions grew by 57.1% to 6.9mln AMD.

The amount of cash card transactions in the processing network of Areximbank-Gazprombank Group grew by 44.5% to 47.7mln AMD, while the amount on non-cash transactions by 2.5 times to 10.8mln AMD.

VTB Bank Armenia issues and serves Visa cards, while Areximbank- Gazprombank Group both Visas and MasterCards.
