VTB Bank (Armenia) and ArmenTel company announce about issue of new co-brand card Visa Alliance
Arminfo. VTB Bank (Armenia) and telecommunication company ArmenTel (Beeline brand) and international payment system Visa Int. have announced about issue of the new co-brand card Visa Alliance in Armenia. As representative of the VTB Bank (Armenia) Artak Khachatryan said at today's press-conference, till the end of the year the bank is going to issue about 20 thsd co-brand cards. He also added that by the end of the current year the bank is going to increase the total number of cards by 30-40%. At present the number of the emitted cards is 156.
When paying for goods and services in the trade and service points of the country and out of it, as well as in Internet, participants in the co-branding programme will be able to accumulate the bonus points. In particular, the balls will be accumulated at the balance of the Beeline subscribers - 1 bonus points for every 70 drams spent by the card.
As manager for business Visa development in CIS countries Irina Kamkhadze said, at the end of every month owners of the co-branding cards of VTB Bank (Armenia) will be able to exchange the accumulated points for services of the Beeline mobile communication. For instance, having accumulated 400 points a subscriber will get 15 minutes of free of charge time for talking or 30 free of charge SMS or a "nice" number as a gift.
Representative of the Visa payment system said that today more than 2 mln people in all over the world and 15 thsd international financial organizations use this system. More than 20 thsd transactions per second and more than 130 mln transaction per day have been implemented with a help of this system.
The participants in the press-conference hope the given programme will have a great success in Armenia.
