Ameriabank launches a branch in Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan and also intends to launch another branch in Gyumri
ArmInfo. Ameriabank has launched a branch in Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan on April 27.
"Ameriabank displays a conservative attitude to expansion of the branch network, as this is not an aim in itself. Before opening a branch, the specialists study the economic activeness of the local population, as well as the social and demographic micro-situation influencing the demand of the consumers. Only after that a relevant decision is made. From this point of view, Shengavit is of big interest to us", Tigran Jrbashyan, Development Director of Ameria Group, said to journalists on Friday. He added that in 2012 the bank is also going to launch another new branch in Gyumri, Shirak region of Armenia.
"The service and the spectrum of services in branches do not differ from those in the head office of Ameriabank. The branch in Shengavit is not an exception and meets all our standards: it provides all the services of Ameriabank and ensures high-quality service", he said. The office is equipped with up-to-date facilities and on-line communication with the head office. The branch also has a zone for Premium class customers.
"Given the expenses, the Shengavit branch is expected to reach almost the zero level of profit in 2012, and will ensure up to 200 mln AMD profit in 2013", he said.
According to Jrbashyan, despite the presence of many Armenian banks, Ameriabank in Shengavit offers new banking products and services, particularly, preferential terms for the customers, who will open an account in the Shengavit branch before 1 June 2012. The list of these services includes: provision of Visa Classic and MasterCard standart cards with annual free service without a trigger balance. If a legal entity opens an account in the given branch, the director of the organization may receive a Gold cards and a Business card for 1 year with free service. The employees of the organizations, who have become customers of the Shengavit branch within the frames of salary projects, are offered Visa Elektron with - year free service. Individuals are offered free internet-banking services for 1 year, and from April 23 till 1 June the customers are offered GIFT cards with a 50% discount in case of paying one-time fee for the service.
Ameriabank CJSC is a universal bank that provides investment, corporate and retail banking services. The Central Bank of Armenia registered Ameriabank's branch in Shengavit on 20 April 2012.
