8 credit companies join the list of top 1000 largest taxpayers of Armenia  
ArmInfo. In Q1 2012 8 credit companies joined the list of the top 1000 largest taxpayers of the country. 7 of them are UCOs, and 1 is a leasing company. 
According to the State Revenue Committee of Armenia, Norvik UCO was the first (152nd position) among these 8 credit companies, with its payment to the state budget being 130 mln AMD, including 129.8 mln AMD profit and income taxes. ACBA Leasing ranks next (155th position) - 127.6 mln AMD, including 90.6 mln AMD profit and income taxes.  FINCA UCO was the 177th position - 112.6 mln AMD, including 99 mln AMD profit and incomes taxes. Aregak UCO held the 188th position, having paid 107 mln AMD, of which 84.3 mln AMD being profit and income taxes. The National Mortgage Company paid 55.4 mln AMD (the whole amount being profit and income taxes) and held the 337th position. Kamurj UCO held the 648th place (27.4 mln AMD, including 27 mln AMD profit and income taxes), Bless UCO held the 666th position with 26.5 mln AMD, including 26.4 mln AMD profit and income taxes.  The list of the largest taxpayer-credit companies is accomplished by the Affordable Housing for Young Families UCO - 682nd pace with 25.7 mln AMD, including 25.2 mln AMD profit and income taxes. 
In Q1 2011 there were 5 credit companies among Armenia's 1,000 biggest tax-payers: Finca was the 105th, Aregak the 131st, National Mortgage Company the 307th, ACBA Leasing the 448th, Kamurj the 489th. 
As of Apr 1 2011 there were 32 credit companies in Armenia (28 universal credit companies, 3 leasing companies and 1 credit union).
