CONTACT money transfer system reduces tariffs of remittances from Armenia


ArmInfo. CONTACT money transfer system announces reductions of the commissions charged for remittances from Armenia in terms of USD, EUR, RUR and AMD to remote countries. Starting June 2012 the commission for transfer of up to 4950USD/EUR or 175,000 RUR is 1.3% of total amount. Transfer of the an amount equal to or over 4950USD/EUR will cost 65 AMD/EUR or 2275 RUR for transfer of 175,000 and more rubles.

CONTANT system is available at 1900 point in 590 towns and populated areas in Armenia. Among the system's partners there are 14 banks and financial organizations: ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank. AMERIABANK, ARARATBANK, ARDSHININVESTBANK, ARMBUSINESSBANK, VTB Bank (Armenia), HAYPOST, ARMECONOMBANK, ADB, Areximbank-Gazprombank Group, Prometey Bank, BTA Bank, INECOBANK and Converse Bank.

JSCB RUSSLAVBANK (ZAO) is the CONTACT System Operator was registered in 1990, General banking license N1073. CONTACT system laid the foundations of the russian market of money transfers. Currently CONTACT unites more than 900 financial institutions in Russia, CIS and foreign countries, which form a network of more than 230 000 service points, including payment terminals in over 100 countries. CONTACT partners in payments are more than 850 legal entities - banks, trading companies, insurance and tourism companies and their agents, Internet service providers, telecom operators and other service systems. Annually millions of customers around the world send and receive money transfers via CONTACT system. In 2011, CONTACT system has won the nationwide contest "Brand N 1 RUSSIA 2011" in category "remittances."
