Idram and Prometey Bank issue co-branded Master Standard card
ArmInfo. Idram, jointly with Prometey Bank and MasterCard International, has issued a co-branded Master Standard card, allowing its holders to cash the e-money they have on Idram accounts.
Idram Director Gayane Stepanyan told journalists on Thursday that the card will be free of charge for Idram customers and added that they have already received lots of applications. Deputy CEO of Prometey Bank Karen Yeghiazaryan said that the holders of Master Standard will be provided with free bank accounts. The card will be accepted in shops and ATMs worldwide.
Deputy Director of Idram Gevorg Poghosyan said that Idram is an on-line system. To be able to use its e-money, you will have to sign in. Each electronic unit is equivalent to one AMD. The units can be cashed in all of Idram's branches, in banks, their branches, POS terminals and ATMs by means of ArCa, MasterCard and Visa cards. The system has seven security levels, with the access requiring no special software. Idram's e-money can be converted into any e-currency. For the moment the system has almost 50,000 users - 110% more than a year ago.
Idram was set up in May 2008. In Dec 2009 it was allowed to transfer money, in Mar 2012 to issue e-currency. Its system can be used by those wishing to make on-line payments and to transfer money. To be able do it, you just have to sign in.
