Ameribank to take part in Online Bank Management Contest


ArmInfo. Ameribank will take part in Online Bank Management Contest (OBMC), which is to take place in Brussels Sept 24-26 2012.

The press service of Ameriabank reports that the bank is on one of the two teams selected from among eighteen teams of European banks as a result of the European qualification round.

The competition is based on the creation of shareholder value with an appropriate risk-return profile.

The qualification rounds are conducted in Europe, North America, South America, Asia and Africa. The best teams qualify for the Global Finals.

The organizer of OBMC is SimArch NV, the partners World Savings Banks Institute, European Savings Banks Group, New York Institute of Finance and National University of Singapore.

This will be Ameriabank's second time at OBMC. This year the bank will be represented by chief asset and liability management specialist Arsen Sargsyan, senior accounting specialists Ara Hambartsumyan, senior risk management specialist Izabella Adilkhanyan and dealer Daina Hakobyan.

Ameriabank CJSC is a universal bank offering corporate, investment and retail banking services in a comprehensive package of banking solutions. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ameriabank is Ruben Vardanian. The Chairman of the Management Board - General Director is Artak Hanesyan.
