Poll: 44% of customers of Areximbank-GPB Group have bankcards


ArmInfo. According to a poll conducted among customers of Areximbank-GPB Group, 44% of the customers of the bank have bankcards, the bank's press-service reported.

Thus, every 8th respondent holds more than two plastic cards. 7% of customers, mainly at the age 25-30 hold by 3 cards. This category uses also virtual money. ATMs are mostly used to make payments for communal services, Internet, mobile phones and money transfers.

Every second polled customer said he pays at shops with plastic cards, but not very often. Another 75% of the polled said they need a card to withdraw cash from ATMs, because many trade and service points do not accept plastic cards yet.

By data of the bank, for the first half of 2012 the number of issued international plastic cards of Areximbank-GPB Group totaled 100,271, which is 19.55% more than for the first half of 2011.
