Areximbank - Gazprombank Group issues 5476 cards for Q2 2012


ArmInfo. Areximbank-Gazprombank Group issued 5476 cards for Q2 2012, with the growth versus Q2 2011 being 77.7%. The bank issued 1803 Visa International plastic cards, 1915 MasterCard and 1758 ArCa cards, the bank's press-service reported.

The source reports that turnover at trade points of the bank for Q2 2012 totaled 819.071 million drams with a 14.35% growth versus the same period of 2011. Turnover of the bank's cards at the trade points of other banks for the period under review totaled 447,235 million drams (17.1% growth). Turnover at the bank's cash points totaled 9.373 billion drams, including 2.884 billion drams was turnover of POS- terminals and 6.489 billion drams was turnover of ATMs. As compared to Q2 2011 this indicator grew 20.55%.

By data of the bank, for the first half of 2012 the number of issued international plastic cards of Armeximbank-GPB Group totaled 100,271, which is 19.55% more than for the first half of 2011.
