RESO insurance company launches a new property insurance product
ArmInfo. The RESO insurance company has launched a new property insurance product "RESO-TUN" (RESO-Home). The inexpensive flats, houses and summer cottages can also make use of this product. The marketing service of the company told ArmInfo that the new product seriously differs from the property insurance products in the market.
The source says that RESO-TUN implies insurance of the interior furnishing, including doors and windows, systems of heating, water supply, sewerage and gas supply, as well as insurance of all the household goods. The company does not evaluate the object of insurance, nor does it make an inventory of the movable property.
In case of insurance of the interior furnishing, the insured event is the damage or destruction of the interior furnishing elements and the property caused by a fire, lightning, blast of gas, water damage, burglary, natural disasters, unlawful actions of the third parties, robbery, beating of window panes.
The new product includes three insurance programs, particularly, "Econom" program worth 5 thsd AMD (500 thsd AMD insurance coverage), "Standard" worth 7 thsd AMD (1 mln AMD insurance coverage), and "Optimal" worth 12 thsd AMD (2 mln AMD insurance coverage). The franchise for these programs is fixed at 30 thsd AMD. The insuree can also acquire the specified programs without any franchise. In this case, "Econom" costs 6 thsd AMD, "Standard" costs 8.5 thsd AMD, and "Optimal" costs 14 thsd AMD.
To note, the founder of the RESO insurance company is RESO-Guarantee, one of the largest insurance companies in Russia. The Armenian subsidiary of the Russian insurer entered the market in November 2008. According to the Ranking of Insurance Companies of Armenia by the Agency of Rating Marketing Information, over Q1 2012 RESO collected premiums worth 1.9 bln AMD (3rd position in the market), the insurance payments totaled 291.4 mln AMD (4th position in the market).
