Total capital of Armenia's credit companies up 5.8% for Q2 2012 
ArmInfo. Over Q2 2012 the total capital of Armenia's credit companies was up 5.8% to 51.4 bln AMD ($123 mln). In the total capital, the authorized fund grew by 12.7% to 39.9 bln AMD ($95 mln). 
The Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) says that the share of foreign capital in the authorized fund grew by 0.77% to 14 bln AMD ($33.5 mln). The main reserves grew by 48.6% to 1.48 mln ($3 mln).
The Armenian credit companies completed Q2 2012 with a loss of 553 bln AMD. The accumulated profit as of 1 July 2012 totaled 9.5 bln AMD ($22 mln), having declined by 5% over Q2 2012.
According to the CBA, as of 1 July 2012 there were 32 credit companies and 86 branches in Armenia.
