Seminar "Supervision based on risks and risks assessment" seminar kicks off in Yerevan
Arminfo. The 5-day regional seminar "Supervision based on risks and risks assessment", organized by Armenia's Central Bank jointly with US Federal Reserve System, kicked off in Yerevan today. More than 30 specialists from Central Banks of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Serbia, Latvia, Poland, Lebanon, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Armenia will take part in the seminar, representative of Armenia's Central Bank, Vahtang Abrahamyan, said at today's press-conference.
Abrahamyan and representative of the US Federal Reserve System, Sarkis Jougurjan said in their speeches that the main "lessons" of the global financial crisis made supervision especially important, as the crisis revealed problems in this sphere in many countries. "At present all the countries have been revising supervision methods and its implementation. Such seminars give us an opportunity to learn the last tendencies of the world development as well as to exchange experience", - Abrahamyan said.
