Anelik Bank introduces new payment card "ANELIK BANK BOOM ENERGY VISA Classic""
ArmInfo. Anelik Bank introduced a new payment card "ANELIK BANK BOOM ENERGY VISA Classic". The card gives the cardholder an opportunity of free access to 10 karaoke, disco and nightclubs in Yerevan, Anelik Bank press-service told ArmInfo.
In addition, the card implies up to 10% discount at 20 restaurants, cafes and fast foods cafes, and up to 50% discount for non-cash purchases at over 400 shops and service points. The source reports that the bank plans to announce a competition among cardholders and the winner will get a travel ticket to the Black Sea for 4 persons.
"We have introduced this card jointly with BOOM Magazine and we are sure that it will be popular among the youth. The annual service fee is 5,000 drams, which is quite affordable for the youth," says David Ananyan, Head of the Anelik Bank Department for Operations with Plastic Card.
By data of the analytical review "Armenian Banks in the Card Market" prepared by ArmInfo Agency, Anelik Bank is among top ten banks in terms of the number of active plastic cards as of April 1 2012 - nearly 44,000 cards, with nearly 47% of Visa International system. The total number of the bank's cards grew 20% versus the same period of 2011 due to the increase in the number of international cards. It is noteworthy that Anelik Bank was the first to issue and serve Visa and MasterCard (over 30,000 active cards in total - top five banks) alongside with local ArCa cards. The bank services 41 ATMs, including 34 in Yerevan and 7 in the regions, and nearly 430 own POS-terminals (3rd position).
