Unibank to issue mobile commerce service in October
Arminfo. Unibank will issue Mobile Commerce service in the middle of October, Deputy Chairman of Unibank Board, Mesrop Hakopyan, told Arminfo correspondent.
He said that Mobile Commerce supposes bank account management, payment for goods and services and payment for public utilities through a mobile phone. The funds available at the bank account of a user are used when making transactions. He also added that the given service is in line with all international security standards and is similar to the American sample of the mobile commerce.
He said that Mobile Commerce may be installed at smartphones that function with Android and IOS systems and later with Windows as well. The service will be free of charge for the first several months and later the bank will fix a symbolic fee about 100 drams per month.
