Unibank introduces mobile commerce services for the first time in Armenia
ArmInfo. Unibank has presented services having no analogues in Armenia at Digitec Expo 2012 in Yerevan October 5-7.
Unibank CJSC introduced U-Bank service, which is a novelty in the Armenian banking market. The new service makes it possible for customers to manage their bank accounts, pay for communal services and make other transactions by means of mobile smartphones.
U-Bank is a free application that will be soon available for Android and iOS mobile platforms at Google play and App Store. At the Unibank's pavilion, visitors had an opportunity to get first hand view of the project, make operations using the app by means of the big display connected to smartphones. Visitors and participants in the exhibition praised another novelty by Unibank: a virtual promoter of U- Bank service.
The bank introduced another new app for smartphones providing information on the branches and ATMs of the bank, as well as the partners of Magnis project and the discounts to cardholders.
Visitors spotlighted also the new payment terminals of Unibank for fast money transfers via UNISTREAM system, redemption of loans, and other payments. The bank will install over 60 new terminals throughout Armenia shortly.
"New services of the bank based on high-technologies is another customer-friendly step of Unibank Due to U-Bank services, the customers can make a range of transactions by means of their mobile phones. We will keep developing in the given area to make service of our customers faster and more comfortable," says Mesrop Hakobyan, Deputy Head of Board - Director for Information Technologies and Innovative Projects of Unibank.
