Armenian Financial Ombudsman's decisions can now be disputed


ArmInfo. On October 9 the Constitutional Court of Armenia gave its consent to possible disputing of the Armenian Financial Ombudsman's decisions in a judicial proceeding, the press service of the Human Rights Defender's Office told ArmInfo.

"From now on the legal entities can make use of their right to effective judicial defense without hindrance", the source says.

The Constitutional Court ruled that both individuals and legal entities' right to judicial defense cannot be limited.

To note, the Financial Ombudsman's Office was founded by the Central Bank of Armenia. The Office launched its activity on 24 Jan 2009.
