Areximbank-Gazprombank Group starts issuing chip VISA cards

ArmInfo. Areximbank-Gazprombank Group has started issuing chip VISA cards.

The press service of Areximbank-Gazprombank Group reports that the cards have the same terms as the bank's other cards do and imply no additional charges.

In Q3 2012 Areximbank-Gazprombank Group issued 5,328 cards: 4,524 VISAs, 451 Mastercards and 353 ArCas. As of Oct 1 2012 the bank had 70 ATMs and 296 POS-terminals.

In Sept 2012 the bank started issuing chip MasterCards.

Areximbank-Gazprombank Group was set up in Aug 1998 for supporting business and ensuring financial flows between Russia and Armenia. 100% of its shares are owned by Gazprombank.
