Real Effective Exchange Rate down 1.2 for Sept, amid 1.4% decline of Nominal Effective Exchange Rate
ArmInfo. Real Effective Exchange Rate (REER) was down 1.2% for Sept 2012 in Armenia to 119 as of Oct 1 2012, says the Central Bank of Armenia monthly reference guide.
In Q3 2012 REER fell 5.9% while for Sept 2012 versus Sept 2011. In 2012 this indicator experienced growth only in January and was falling throughout the year.
The Nominal Effective Exchange Rate (NEER) was down 1.4% for Sept 2012 to 210.4. In Q3 2012 it fell 2.4%. As compared to Q3 2011 NEER was down 5%. In 2012 NEER fell from Jan to April inclusive, as well as in June, August and September. NEER grew only in May and July.
