By 1 November 2012 inflow of private transfers to Armenia totaled $1.4 bln
ArmInfo. The inflow of private non-commercial transfers of individuals via the banking system of Armenia amounted to $1.367 bln for Jan-Oct 2012 with 10.5% growth versus the same period of 2011.
Most of the transfers were from Russia - 85,7%. Then comes the USA - 4%, Kazakhstan - 1.3%, Ukraine - 1.2%, France - 0.7%, Germany - 0.7%, the UAE - 0.5%, Spain - 0.4%, China - 0.2% and Turkey - 0.1%.
The Central Bank of Armenia reported that the outflow of private transfers from Armenia over the period under review grew by 8.3% versus Jan-Oct 2011 and amounted to $232.7 mln. As a result, as of 1 November 2012, the net inflow of private transfers of individuals to Armenia grew by 10.9% and amounted to $1.135 bln.
As for the outflow of transfers from Armenia, 56.3% of the outflow or $131 mln was the share of Russia with 15.6% growth versus Jan-Oct 2011. Then comes the USA - 8.8% or $20.4 mln with 7.7% decline. The outflow of transfers from Armenia to France decreased by 38% to $4.2 mln, to Ukraine - 10% to $12.2 mln (5.2% of the total volume of outflow), to Turkey - 18.7% to $3.3 mln, (1.4% of the outflow), to Kazakhstan - 15.6% to $1.3 mln. The outflow of transfers to China grew by 24.7% to $8.9 mln (3.8% of the outflow), to Germany - by 15.8% to $6.6 mln (2.8%), to Spain - by 29.2% to $3.2 mln (1.4%).
As a result, the lion's share of the net inflow - 91.8% or $1.041 mln belongs to Russia with 13.3% growth versus Jan-Oct 2011. Meanwhile, net inflow of transfers from France grew 3-fold to $5.1 mln (0.4% of the total volume of net inflow of transfers). The net inflow of transfers from Kazakhstan grew by 10% to $16.4 mln (1.4%). The net inflow of transfers from Ukraine for Jan-Oct 2012 dropped more than twofold to 3.6 mln USD (0.3%).
At the same time, net inflow of transfers from Spain dropped by 46.7% to 2 mln USD, from the USA - by 8.6% to 34.9 mln USD, from Germany - by 8.7% to 2.9 mln USD. A negative net inflow was registered in transfers from China where the negative indicator dropped by 8.4% to 6.2 mln USD, as well as from Turkey - by 10% to $1.9 mln versus Jan-Oct 2011.
