Rates in Armenian financial market up almost 0.2% in Nov 2012
ArmInfo. The interest rates in the financial market of Armenia were up almost 0.2% in November 2012.
The press service of the Central Bank of Armenia told ArmInfo that in the primary market the average yield of government bonds with up to 1-year maturity made up 9.96% in November, having grown by 0.15 pct points as compared to October. In the interbank market the average monthly repo rate made up 9% (up 0.15 pct points).
The source says that in Nov 2012 versus Oct 2012, 0.12% AMD devaluation against USD was fixed in the currency market of Armenia, which fixed the AMD/USD exchange rate at 407.1 AMD/$1. 0.98% AMD revaluation against EUR was registered, and this formed an exchange rate of 522.3 AMD/1EUR, and 0.69% AMD consolidation against RUR was registered, which fixed the exchange rate at 12.98 AMD/1RUR.
