In Q3 2012 Armenia's gross foreign debt made up $7.54bln
ArmInfo. In Q3 2012 as compared with Q3 2011 Armenia's gross foreign debt grew by 3% to $7.54bln.
During the same period gross foreign assets grew by 4.9% to $4.888bln. As a result, net foreign debt dropped by 0.6% to $2.648bln.
According to Armenia's Finance Ministry, 41.87% of gross foreign debt were the debts of the government (23.92% were long-term loans), 12.54% the debts of the private sector, 11.96% direct foreign investments.
As of Jan 1 2012 Armenia's gross foreign debt was $7.393bln, gross foreign assets $4.814bln, net foreign debt $2.579bln. As of July 1 2012 the indices were $7.324bln, $4.659bln and $2.664bln, respectively.
