Converse Bank and MasterCard Int. launch Master Voyage program

ArmInfo. Converse Bank and MasterCard Int. have launched a Master Voyage program.

The program will last till Apr 1 2013 and is aimed at stimulating non-cash MasterCard transactions in Armenia.

According to Deputy CEO of Converse Bank Artur Hakobyan, the program will offer bonuses for the use of MasterCards: 30 points for each POS-terminal transaction and 1 point for each 1,000 AMD purchase.

The winner will be granted a voyage to Thailand, the 50 most active cardholders different domestic appliances.

Hakobyan says that for the moment Converse Bank has 89,000 active cards against 49,000 on Jan 1 2012, with 30% of them being MasterCards.
