Real Effective Exchange Rate up 2.3% for Jan 2013 amid 0.7% decline of Nominal Effective Exchange Rate 
ArmInfo. Real Effective Exchange Rate (REER) was up 2.3% for Jan 2013 in Armenia to 121.6 as of Feb 1 2013, says the Central Bank of Armenia monthly reference guide. In Jan 2013 versus Jan 2012 REER was down  7.6%. 
For late Dec 2012 REER totaled 118.9 with a 0,6% growth versus November. This indicator suffered decline in Dec 2012 versus Dec 2012 by 8.3%. Within 2012 REER experienced growth in Jan, May, Oct only and suffered decline in the remaining months. 
The Nominal Effective Exchange Rate (NEER) was down 0.7% for Jan 2013 and 5.7% versus Jan 2012 to 205.9.  For late Dec 2012 NEER was 207.3 following a 0.9% decline versus Nov and 5.4% decline versus Dec 2011.  In 2012 NEER fell in the period from Jan to Apr inclusive, as well as in Jun, Aug, Sept, and Oct and grew in May, Jul and Nov.
