Assets of insurance companies grow by more than one third up to 43.2 bln drams
Arminfo. By 1 April 2013 the aggregate assets of Armenian insurance companies amounted to 43.2 bln drams ($103.1 mln), by 33,7% more versus 1 April 2012. According to the Ranking of the insurance companies prepared by Arminfo, the assets of the insurance companies grew by 12,7% for the 1Q 2013.
Here are the three leaders: "INGO Armenia" with an indicator 10.9 bln drams (growth by 35,4% versus the 1Q 2012), insurance company "Rosgosstrakh Armenia" - 9.1 bln drams ( growth by 16%) and "RECO" - 8.2 bln drams (twofold growth). "Nairi Insurance" is the forth by the size of assets - 4.8 bln drams (growth by 20,8% versus the 1Q 2012 and 7,8% versus the 4Q 2012). The "Garant Insurance" comes with an indicator 3.64 bln drams (growth by 20,1% versus 1Q 2012). The insurance company "Armenia Insurance" is the sixth - 3.63 bln drams (growth by 27,5%). The least size of assets was fixed at the insurance company "Sil Insurance" - 3 bln drams (growth by 20%).
The share of the current assets in the structure of assets was 86% or 37.2 bln drams by the results of the 1Q 2013. This indicator grew by 30% versus the 1Q 2012, and by 14% versus the 4Q 2012. The share of the current financial investments was 60% or 25.5 bln drams, by 18,3% versus the 1Q 2012 and by 8% more versus the 4Q 2012. The short-term receivables of 7 insurance companies amounted 9.5 bln drams by the results of the 1Q 2013, by 70,5% more versus the 1Q 2012 and by 36,3% versus the 4Q 2012.
