ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank prepares a surprise for kids of Mari Izmirlyan Orphanage on occasion of International Children's Day
ArmInfo. On the occasion of the International Children's Day, ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank has prepared a surprise for the kids of the Mari Izmirlyan Orphanage. The press service of the Bank told ArmInfo that the employees of the organization made contributions to the charitable project "Visa Barerar", and the Bank doubled these funds and provided the amount to the Mari Izmirlyan Orphanage in Yerevan.
The source says that under the card project "Visa Barerar", nearly 22 kids of the orphanage will spend their summer holidays in Hankavan, and 10 kids will undergo medical examination in the advanced diagnostics centers of Armenia. In addition, the fitness center of the orphanage has been provided with new exercise machines.
To recall, on 22 November 2012 ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank and the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund jointly issued the first charitable Visa Barerar card in Armenia. The project aims to raise funds to provide financial support to the children of Armenian orphanages. By receiving a Visa Barerar card of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank, the citizens get an opportunity to make regular charitable contributions to the Hayastan All- Armenian Fund without any extra efforts or big expenses. They only need to pay for their daily shopping with the Visa Barerar card. The Bank transfers 0.3% of each payment and 50% of the annual card service charge to the Fund.
To note, ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank CJSC was founded in 1996. By the latest data the number of Bank's active cards annually increases by almost 20%. Today their number exceeds 130 thsd.
The Hayastan All-Armenian Fund was founded in 1992. The key goal of the Fund is to implement nationwide projects, develop the infrastructures of Armenia and the NKR. The President of Armenia is the head of the Fund's Board of Trustees.
