ACBA Credit Agricole Bank donates 41 mln AMD to the fund for farmers affected by natural disasters
ArmInfo. ACBA Credit Agricole Bank has donated 41 mln AMD to the fund for farmers affected by natural disasters. The press service of ACBA Credit Agricole Bank told ArmInfo that 11 mln AMD of this amount was provided by the employees of the Bank.
Along with this, within the frames of the support to the thousands of farm enterprises affected by the strong hailstorm in 45 communities of Armavir region, ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank is setting personalized schedules for prolongation and redemption of the loans. It has also started providing extra loans. This process will be completed in June-July 2013.
Lending to farmers and farm enterprises is a priority in the Bank's activity. In this context, ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank is a leader in the banking market and annually provides agricultural loans worth over 30 bln AMD.
According to the Financial Rating of the Banks of Armenia prepared by the Agency of Rating Marketing Information (ArmInfo), ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank is an irreplaceable leader in the market of agriculture lending. As of 1 April 2013, the Bank's agriculture lending totaled 47.5 bln AMD, or 46% of the total agriculture lending of the banks. Over Q1 2013 the Bank's agriculture lending grew by 15% and its share in the total loan book exceeds 27%. The Bank has 44 branches, 38 of them in the regions of Armenia.
