In Q2 2013 SME lending grew by just 0.3%
ArmInfo. In Jan-June 2013 as compared with Jan-June 2012 the SME lending portfolio of Armenia's banks grew by 9.2% to 469bln AMD ($1.1bln) or 26.4% of all loans. In Q2 2013 the index grew by just 0.3%.
According to ArmInfo's Ranking of Banks of Armenia, the leaders in this segment are ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank, INECOBANK and Armbusinessbank with over 32% of all SME loans.
Converse Bank registered the biggest quarterly growth - 63.4%, BTA Bank the biggest annual growth - more than thrice. The same bank registered the biggest quarterly drop - 33.6%, with Armenian Development Bank recording the biggest annual drop - 23%.
