Arminfo. The insurance market of Armenia gathered 22.4 bln drams for the first half 2013 and paid 10 bln drams. According to the Ranking of insurance companies of Armenia prepared by Arminfo, the gatherings of the seven insurance companies reduced by 5,3% versus the same period of 2012, whereas the payments were more than 60% by 1 July of the current year.
The first is Rosgosstrakh Armenia by the volume of the insurance premiums gathered for the first half of 2013 - with an indicator 5.7 bln drams (bust by 3,5% versus the same period of 2012). The second is "INGO Armenia" - 4.7 bln drams (bust 16%.). RESO is the third - 4.3 bln drams (growth by 10%) and the forth is an insurance company "Garant Insurance" with an indicator 986 mln drams (bust 60%). According to Armenian Central Bank, for the 2Q 2013 the insurance companies of Armenia gathered premiums 11.3 bln drams.
According to the Ranking prepared by Arminfo, by the end of the first half of 2013 the assets of the insurance companies of Armenia exceeded 50 bln drams - by threefold more versus the same period of 2012. The assets of the insurance companies grew by 30% for the 2Q 2013. The property asset of the seven Armenian insurance companies amounted to 14.8 billion drams by 1 July 2013, growth by 8,5% versus the same period of 2012. The accumulated profit of the Armenian insurance market amounted to 925.5 mln drams by the end of the first half of 2013, - down 62% versus the same period of 2012.
