Non-cash payments in trade outlets with Areximbank-GPB Group's cards up 37% for first half of 2013

ArmInfo. Number of the payment cards issued by Areximbank-Gazprombank Group in the first half of 2013 totaled 7698, including VISA - 3787, MasterCard - 3903, ArCa -8, the bank's press-service told ArmInfo.

Non-cash payments in trade outlets with the bank's cards amounted to 1.9 bln drams, which is 37% higher than for the same period of 2012.

The number of active cards totaled 31230 on July 1 2013, including VISA - 20750, MasterCard - 9105, ArCa - 1375. The number of 'salary' projects totaled 150.

The bank plans increasing the number of active cards to 40,000 by the end of 2013, turnover of non-cash operations to 70 bln drams, and the number of 'salary' projects to 157.
