VTB Bank (Armenia) launches a new service - "My Economic Card"
ArmInfo. In order to encourage its customers to be even more loyal, VTB Bank (Armenia) has offered them a new service - "My Economic Card."
The press service of VTB Bank (Armenia) reports that from now on the bank's customers will get a 2.5% Cash Back when using their cards in the bank's POS-terminals.
So as to enjoy this service, they will have to activate it in any of the bank's branch by paying just 1,000 AMD. Afterwards, as a result of regular non-cash payments, they may get a monthly bonus of up to 100,000 AMD.
"We see that our customers are highly interested in our bonus cards. So, we have developed a service that will offer them a bonus or a discount for each non-cash transaction. We will enlarge our POS-terminal network so as to give our customers access to more outlets," says Yuri Gusev, CEO of VTB Bank (Armenia).
To note, no bonus is given for casino or betting transactions, for the purchase of lottery tickets and bonds, for the replenishment of Web Money, Yandex.Dengi, Pay Pal and other electronic wallets, for all transactions related to financial organizations and the transfer of money from cards to bank accounts, for the payment of bills or fees in favor of insurance companies or share funds.
According to ArmInfo's Armenian Banks in Card Business bulletin, as of Apr 1 2013 VTB Bank (Armenia) had the biggest number of active cards - 232,000 (44.2% more than on Apr 1 2012). In 2012 the bank carried out card transactions worth almost 115bln AMD - 65.4% more than in 2011. As of Apr 1 2013 the bank had 224 POS- terminals and 111 ATMs. The bank is also the leader in the number of issued international cards.
