Ameriabank launches "I Am Free" large-scale contest and calls on Armenians worldwide to display freedom of expression


ArmInfo. Ameriabank has announced the launch of a large-scale contest on a crowd-sourcing basis and called on Armenians worldwide to display freedom of expression. Tigran Jrbashyan, Development Director of Ameriabank, said at today's press conference that the contest entitled "I AM Free" will last for a month till 13 Dec 2013.

According to the contest rules, each potential participant gives his/her own definition of "freedom" and expresses it by means of a creative photo or video. "For instance, for a small girl freedom is to use her mom's makeup, for book lovers freedom is to read in a calm and quiet atmosphere, for some other person it is sky jumping", said Jrbashyan. He added that a website has been created for the contest (www.esazatem.am), where the contestants are to upload their photos and videos. At the same time, all the photos are also to be uploaded by the contestants on the official Facebook page of Ameriabank. All the photos and videos will undergo primary selection and experts will check their compliance with the general rules of the contest.

The contestants obtaining the biggest number of Likes on Facebook and votes of Ameriabank's employees will become winners. The authors of the best 3 photos and the best 3 videos will be awarded prizes, which, Jrbashyan says, will be as unexpected as the potential participants' materials are wanted to be. Moreover, the Bank will be committed to the contest slogan during the award ceremony. The participants will be free to choose their prizes.

Jrbashyan said that the contest is aimed not only at popularizing but also at understanding the needs of the potential customers. The Bank expects the key participants to be people at the age ranging from 17 to 35, who strive for freedom in all spheres of life. He added, however, that the contest has no age limits.
