In Oct 2013 money supply in Armenia grew by 14.7%
ArmInfo. In Oct 2013 as compared with Oct 2012 money supply in Armenia grew by 14.7% to 1.467tln AMD or $3.6bln. In Oct 2013 alone it grew by 0.6%.
The press service of Armenia's Central Bank reports that the share of non-bank AMD supply in total money supply made up 24.5% or 359.4bln AMD ($887.2mln).
AMD deposits grew by 21.6% as compared with Oct 2012 and by 2.3% in Oct 2013 alone to 414.4bln AMD or $1.023bln (28.2% of money supply), while foreign exchange deposits grew by 19.9% and dropped by 0.7%, respectively, to 693bln AMD (47.2% of money supply).
In Oct 2013 net foreign assets dropped to –115.4bln AMD, while internal assets grew by 14.7% to 1.582tln AMD.
