Ameriabank announces results of its "I Am Free" contest


ArmInfo. Having summed up the results of the "I Am Free" contest, Ameriabank awarded prizes to 6 winners for the best three photos and the best three videos. During a press conference dedicated to that event, Tigran Jrbashyan, Development Director at Ameriabank, announced the results of the contest.

"I should note that we did not expect such wide participation. A total of 2,000 people took part in the contest, with 1,200 of them in the photo section and over 100 people in the video section", he said. "The photo and video materials on Facebook have received about 2,000 comments and 48,000 Likes. The website www.esazatem.am has been viewed for 25,000 times. About 60,000 views have been registered on YouTube, and the videos here received 4.5 thsd Likes", said Jrbashyan. The authors of the best three photos were Mikayel Hambardzumyan (1st prize), Sargis Virabyan (2nd prise), and David Safaryan (3rd prize). The authors of the best three videos were Armen Sargsyan (1st prize), Ovsanna Sargsyan (2nd prize), and Artur Gevorgyan (3rd prize).

Ameriabank reports that the contest was launched on November 13. This was a great opportunity for individuals to give their own interpretation of freedom and express their wishes in a photo or a video. Contest voting was open until December 20. The winners announced during the press conference held on December 24 had the freedom to choose the prize of their own choice subject to the previously announced rules of the contest.

20 best photos were selected out of all the photos received. The first top 10 comprised photos that received most likes (1 LIKE is equal to 1 vote) on Facebook from the users based outside Armenia. The other top 10 photos were selected by Ameriabank staff voting. The best videos uploaded to the bank's page on YouTube were determined by the number of views (10 videos) and voting of the bank's employees (10 videos). The contest winners were selected by voting of the creative group comprised of the Bank's management and employees. The authors of the 3 best photos and 3 best videos received the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively at their own choice as announced.
