Armenian dram revaluates against US dollar 1% in Feb 2014 amid 1,1% year over year devaluation


ArmInfo. The Armenian national dram devaluated against US dollar 1,5% in Jan-Feb 2014, and 1% in Feb, the National Statistical Service reports. The exchange rate made up 411.5AMD/US$1 versus 407 AMD/US$1 in Feb 2013.

The source reports 1.2% growth of consumer prices in Feb 2014 amid 1.6% inflation for Jan-Feb. For comparison, deflation of Armenian dram to US dollar totaled 0.1% in Jan-Feb 2013 when inflation was 2.5% amid 0,4% devaluation of AMD against USD.
