In Q1 2014 Armenian banks lent economy almost 1.3tln AMD or 70.4% of all loans


ArmInfo. In Q1 2014 Armenia's banks lent economy almost 1.3tln AMD (70.4% of all loans, 2% more than in Q4 2013 and 8.1% more than in Q1 2013).

Trade received 344.6bln AMD (172bln AMD for wholesale and 154.6bln AMD for retail), processing 173.3bln AMD, agriculture 129.6bln AMD (9.6% more than in Q4 2013 and 18.6% more than in Q1 2013), electric energy and gas supplies 129.1bln AMD (0.8% less than in Q4 2013 and 12.4% more than in Q1 2013).

Construction received 113.3bln AMD (3.5% and 9% more, respectively), with 89.1bln AMD lent to housing construction and 15.8bln AMD to road building.
